FMHCG was established in 1994 to provide advocacy and education to individuals experiencing severe mental illness. The following services are offered free of charge to consumers and their family members.
Services:
Respite Care - must be referred by a mental health caregiver;
Peer Support;
Mountains and Valleys - a support group for individuals with Bi-Polar Disorder;
NA meetings in evenings and on weekends;
Bridges - an educational program for consumers and/or families;
Into the Driver's Seat - for consumers to identify their personal treatment goals and share these with caregivers;
Housing;
Referral to available treatment services;
Listen Line - a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week peer support phone line;
Vocational Peer Support and training opportunities
